Our Core Team
Our Core Team
The people below are the core of Extrapolix, and our main strength. Many of the relationships our clients value most are relationships with them.

Saumitra Mohanty
Founder and CEO
Saumitra founded Extrapolix in 1990 and has spent the thirty-six years since doing one thing: building software that fits the way a business actually runs. He still sits at the center of that work, drawn to the tangled operational problems most people would rather avoid, and set on finding the one design that makes them simple. Under his lead, Extrapolix has stayed a specialist rather than a generalist, and clients have stayed with it for years, many for decades. His conviction is a plain one: every business problem has a solution, and the work is to dig until you find it.

Nadin Rath
A perpetual student and an open-source enthusiast, Nadin is happiest deep in PHP or Python. He helps clients put open-source technology to work in ways that serve their customers better and sharpen the decisions they make. He brings a builder's curiosity to every problem, and a quiet insistence on doing it well.

Bijay Kumar Swain
With more than thirty years in software and IT behind him, Bijay is where a new project takes shape. He manages projects and often gives the first presentation a client sees, then stays close as the work moves from idea to build. Much of his value is as a bridge: between what a client needs and what the team builds, and between the team and Saumitra on every new engagement. Clients meet him early and rely on him throughout.

Nirjharini Sahoo
When a solution is going live, Nirjharini is the person clients reach for. She is the troubleshooter and the friendly point of contact our customers rely on, whether it is a technical snag, a question about how something works, or simply a bit of guidance. Patient and quick to help, she is the face of Extrapolix that clients come to know best.
